Christmas time can be difficult for a variety of reasons. Our Blue Christmas service is designed for people who struggle at Christmas time. If you are among those who have suffered a loss in the past year, or are continuing to grieve any loss, if you are feeling down for whatever reason, then this is a special worship service for you – a time to move from feeling “blue” to experiencing the wonder and hope of Christmas. This service is traditionally held at 4:00 p.m. on the third Sunday in December and is followed by a time for light refreshments and fellowship.
On Christmas Eve we offer five services at 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 p.m. The 3 and 5 p.m. services have a special emphasis for children. The 7, 9 and 11 p.m. services are candlelight celebrations. Holy Communion is served at the 11 p.m. service. Childcare is available at the 3, 5, and 7 p.m. services.
