Women meet on a weekly basis (late September 11 through May) from 9:15 – 11:00 a.m. for Bible study and breakfast. This year, Max Lucado’s Bible study on grace is the focus of the first half of the semester, Liz Curtis Higgs’ :Loved by God” the second. You must be registered to attend. Registration closed Aug. 1, 2017.
Monday Evening Senior Luther League Bible Study
Meets weekly in the dugout or homes of senior high families from 7:00-9:00 P.M., dealing with contemporary issues and concerns facing senior high youth today. There is no required reading, and each Bible Study is a “stand alone” study so that even if you can’t be present every week, you are on the same page as everyone else. Friends are always welcome, and always encouraged!
Weekly Bible study 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. Tuesdays at Sidestreet Cafe in Newberry Park (996 Lawrence Drive, No. 233). Members meet weekly for fellowship and Bible study over breakfast.
Open to both men and women, this Wednesday book club meets monthly on the second Wednesday afternoon of the month at 1:30 p.m. in the Bethlehem Room. This study centers on the material written and published in Gather, the magazine published by the ELCA and the national organization of Lutheran women.
This 7-week course is designed to provide basic information about the Christian faith and provide a friendly, safe forum for questions. Held twice per year in the Spring and Fall. Contact Pastor Tim.
Weekly Bible study with Pastor Tim on Thursdays, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the library starting the 3rd week of September. All are welcome. Contact Pastor Tim.

This in-depth Bible study series is designed to enhance one’s knowledge of the Bible and God’s saving grace by utilizing an overview approach to the Old and New Testaments. Contact Pastor Tim.
Small groups of up to 12 people meet, usually in members’ homes, for fellowship, worship and Bible study. Members also perform some form of service to the church or community. Past projects have included supplying Ascension’s food pantry and refinishing the church’s main doors, serving at dinners for the homeless, etc. If you are interested in hosting a small group study, please contact Pastor Tim.
